Username: Irrational
Years of RPing: 5
Activity Level: On everyday
Desired Elemental: Lupine Earth
Name of Character: Jamar
Gender of Character: Male
Breed of Character: Lupine; Maned Wolf
Description or Picture of Character: The earth; it has been around since the beginning of time. Without earth, fire would have nothing to burn, to run upon. Without earth, water would have nothing to caress it and protect it from the cold during the winter months. Without earth, air would have nothing to stir. Without earth, nothing would matter. Earth...it has been around since the beginning of time. It is wise, old, yet strong and cruel when need be.
Such describes Jamar almost perfectly. He is dependable, like the earth, and not easy to provoked but when angered, his rage is something to behold. His anger comes in one short burst, yes, but he allows rage to build up for so long that this short burst can result in, sometimes, a year of anger letting loose. Jamar is also wise, very observant, almost to an obbsessive point.
He does not enjoy speaking with other wolves, though that does not mean he doesn't enjoy the company of others. He simply finds words to be troublesome, although he can speak with ease. Jamar tends to be rather controlling, for he wants things to go his ways and will manipulte outcomes whenever possible.
Post Sample: Earth; without it, there would be no air, fire, or water. They would make no impression upon the world. Without earth, air would have no plants to toy with, no dirt to score upon again and again, creating scratches in the ground, as if a giant wolf had come out of the sky and, in anger, dug his claws into the earth. Without earth, fire would have nothing to burn; lava would have nothing to flow upon. There would be nothing to destroy and, therefore, no point in fire at all. Without earth, rain and snow would have nothing to fall upon and the lakes would have nothing to rest in. Earth was what wolves and equines alike needed to survive and, so, he was proud to be an earth manipulator. More proud then words could express.
Of course, he rarely used his skills for physical confrontations; gore was not his scene, not by any means. Though, sometimes, it was nesscary. Yellow eyes grew dark with sorrow as they looked down upon the mangled body of a young white wolf; nameless. Why he had traveled here, outside of his usual territory, Jamar did not remember, but his wandering had ended in the death of this air wolf. Why hadn't the beast just stepped down? Surely the frothing, the terrible foam coming from his jaws, meant nothing more then a wolf that was extremely agitated? But a part of Jamar knew such was not the truth, but he could not name what had caused the white wolf to charge at him without warning. Jamar turned away from the body, narrowing his eyes as he dug a hole in the ground, throwing the dirt carelessly to the side. While this creature had attempted to murder him, the wolf also deserved a burial. As soon as the hole was shallow enough, Jamar nudged the body in and used his earth powers to send the dirt back over it, evening it out by stamping upon it.
The stocky beast then stepped back from the crude grave, wishing he had time to do more, but knowing he did not. Olympus was calling him. Leaving it had been foolish- leaving it all had been foolish. What he was, what he controlled and represented, could not be escaped. He was no longer an earth elemental.
He was earth.

USERNAME: Summer YEARS: 3-4 I believe? ACTiViTY: I'm on everyday, if possible.
DESiRED ELEMENTALl: Equine Earth Elemental NAME: Decesuss GENDER: Male BREED: Shire DESCRiPTiON: Decesuss is a large, handsome brute. Coal black on every inch of his body and wrapped in cords of muscle. Being 18hh, Decesuss is not hard to overlook. Heavy, tall and solid, this dark equine will be sure to catch your eye when you are out in the woods. He has white feather around each hoof, the only other color on his entire mass. Black mane, black tail, black eyes. Then, snowy white feather, that actually stays incredibly white for a wild beast such as he, all things considered.
POST:
Starless hunter stepped from the shadows. His whole physique was a dangerous and wonderful terrain on its own. Throw rippled and danced as great sheets of muscle flexed and relaxed, taking his ebony frame from one location to another. The stallion accelerated, onyx wraith-like form disappearing and reappearing with each motion. Flints dig into the earth, wrenching it carelessly as he flew along, legs moving in a surreal blur. A pair of smoldering eyes cut across the moon washed landscape. Small, finely chiseled pricks swiveled to and fro as he ran, picking up all sounds within range. Gaze fell upon a log, sprawled rudely across his path. Without breaking stride or checking his speed, he gathered himself and sailed over the dysfunctional oak tree and continued pursuing that impossible nothing. Exiting that stand of trees the stag galloped on beneath the moonlight sky. Hooves were being place with such an incredible precision. It was breath taking to watch his movements. Mane and tail streamed behind, icing on his cake of black horseflesh. Reality merges absolute - sublime sensation. He is out upon the sands now, the stone ocean rolling in steady dunes. Cresting each slope the brute does not look back as he begins a reckless descent. Across the flats, great lungs pulling in great draughts of air through widened nostrils. The much needed oxygen does not go to waste. It is quickly absorbed into his body, feeding his tissues. His great heart pounds, forcing blood through his arteries and into the rest of his eighteen hand mass. He is amazingly light and quick on his feet for being so built. He has flashy movements. Changing gaits, the equine swings into a wide, arc of a right turn, executing a perfect flying lead change in the process. Daggers sink deeper into this more foreign terrain. The sands call for more power from his hinds. His gait changes from a showy canter into a fanciful gallop, neck arched, nostrils flared and onyx pools glittering, the black beast raises his battle cry into the night, shrill and clear. Eyes are cast upon the heavens as he trumpets out from the depths of his soul, the ringing note builds, crescendos; it slips up the musical scale. The stallion runs out of breath. His song dwindles into silence. The desert stillness is broken by this living, pulsating creature tearing through its sand drenched expanse. Still at full speed, the raven bronc pushes on, sand caving beneath each foot. Ground eating strides go on, heedlessly racking up more and more miles. A coyotes howl drifts through the night. So lonely and different from the wild shriek heard minutes before. The black lord does not change his course. He has no fear of the mongrel. Strength and power he has in excess; time was what was running out. Leaden hooves could slay the poor mutt with one blow. Thick tail billowed behind him, smoke-like in the cool midnight air. The desert sands roiled beneath his aura, rippling like an ocean as he drove over it. The ground shook with each footstep. This was nothing to him. Obsidian flanks rose and fell with each breath as he releases the boundless energy stored up within. He does not stop. Beneath him, the earth rises, flowing forth like a stream, building up into the air. He ascends his creation at top speed, it forming itself mere inches ahead of his careening body. The mesa flattens out. He runs a good hundred yards before he allows himself to slow. At the very last moment, he skids to a halt, and rears, trumpeting again into the night air. Decesuss, Lord of the Earth. This no one would take from him.
